How it works

Here’s how it goes.

Three steps, start to finish, with the same two people the whole way.

The three steps

  1. A complimentary intro call

You tell us about your business and what you’ve already tried.

By the time we hang up, you’ll know whether we can help and what a first project would cover.

  2. The first project

We map how you work, then build what you need first.

We sit down with you and figure out where your time goes, what’s worth automating, where AI fits, and what should stay with a person. Usually we start by putting your business in one place, then build one or two things on top of it.

  3. Someone to call

You can keep us on a monthly retainer.

If something breaks, you call and we fix it. When you need more, we build it.

What you can count on

  • We agree on the scope and the price before anything starts, and we don’t bill by the hour.
  • Every account we set up is in your name from the first day.
  • When a project ends, you get everything, including the code and the logins.
  • If you ever want to leave, you take it all with you.
  • You’ll know what each thing we build does and why it’s there.

We run our own business this way

Our proposals, agreements, invoicing, and client portal all work like this. AI does the drafting, and we approve it all before it goes out.

Common questions

What if we already use some AI tools?
That’s fine. We’d start with what they’re missing, and usually it’s that they don’t know your business yet. We give them one place to pull from, so they do.
What does it cost?
Most first projects land between $5,000 and $15,000. We quote yours as a fixed price in writing after the call, once we know what’s involved. The retainer after that runs a few hundred a month.
How long does it take?
The first project takes weeks, not months, and we’ll give you a timeline before we start.
Who sees our information?
The two of us do, and we only look at what we need to get the work done. Your information stays in accounts in your name, and nothing goes out to your customers or clients that you haven’t approved.

Start with a call.

Tell us what’s going on, and if we can help, we’ll say what we’d do first. If not, we’ll point you to someone who can.
